Projects

The lives of millions of children go by in misery, abandonment, discrimination and lack of protection. As they belong to disadvantaged social classes, they are often excluded from essential services such as health care and education, and are often exploited and abused.

Asha-Kiran’s projects get close to the reality of these children, their families and their community, providing educational and participatory ways so that they will be able to join mainstream society as valid and worthy individuals. If we wish to have a more just and balanced society, we have to work to eradicate the situation of marginalization that so many children live in, while empowering the members of their reference background.

For those who help to make this possible, this work is a way to express their solidarity and to experience the satisfaction of contributing to the welfare of the human family.
