Physical distance separates us – commitment brings us together.
On January 19, there was a video conference between Green County Day Care Center in Pune, India, and Argar High School in Almería, Spain. This experience brought Indian and Spanish youngsters closer together. The high school students are committed to education and want all children to have the same educational opportunities as they do. To this end, they have sponsored A-K for a few years already. This action in schools aims to promote solidarity and building responsible citizens who actively promote human rights.
Our President, Uttam Módenes, joined the video conference in India, as did our volunteer María Ángeles Arráez, who coordinated it in Spain.
This activity was covered by Canal Sur TV from Almería. Thank you so much, Canal Sur Almería, and thanks to the students for making their commitment and solidarity be felt by the children they support.
