April 5 – International Day of Conscience
At Fundación Asha-Kiran, we believe that the most profound transformation comes from looking inward and acting outward, from Remembering ourselves while living in the inner world and the outer world simultaneously.
Today, on the International Day of Conscience, we join the global call for a culture of peace, justice, and respect.
Conscience is not only experienced as an inner state, but a state in daily life. It is the ability to regard others as equals, to reach out, to listen with empathy. This is what guides us at Asha-Kiran when we support children and youngsters to discover their own worth, their rights, and their potential.
When the world moves quickly and we overlook people and things, cultivating Awareness becomes a revolutionary act.
In each of our social work projects, we remain committed to making a more humane future possible.
Today, instead of placing your intensity in doing, we invite you to place it in being Present – stop for a moment, breathe... and feel your inner self inside a relaxed body. What does it feel like?
How can you contribute to a culture of peace?
