Early childcare
We recently conducted an Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program for children aged 4 to 6 at our Day Care Centers. They are the younger sons and daughters of construction workers who rely on us to care for their offspring while they are at work.
Over 100 children enjoyed the many activities we planned for them, such as
- Songs, for them to develop their language and listening skills in a fun and interactive way.
- Stories, so they can enhance their listening and comprehension abilities, and to kindle their imagination.
- Developmental games aimed to improve their motor skills, coordination, and overall physical development while having fun.
- Picture reading, to learn to identify objects, fruits, vegetables, and colors, as well as to develop their observation skills and their ability to associate words with visual prompts.
- Number recognition, to introduce basic numerical concepts in a playful manner.
- Writing the alphabet so as to develop fine motor skills and begin to familiarize themselves with written language.
- Chart-reading sessions, to learn more about letters and words in a visual format.
The aim of the ECCE program is to combine activities that promote language, physical development, cognitive skills, and social interaction in an enjoyable way, laying the building blocks for the children’s future education.
