Onward we go
As in every journey and process, each step is the seed of the next one. So, at Asha-Kiran, we keep this journey going day by day, hand in hand, striving to help and shelter vulnerable children and youths.
With the generous contribution of partners and volunteers, a new branch of our work is now emerging in Spain. Vínculos Project in Malaga has just opened its doors and wants to offer a welcoming and nurturing place to young migrants, asylum seekers and youth who are no longer under the care of the public administration system.
The new project makes a form of solidarity possible which goes beyond monetary donations. Now, we can all broaden our joint commitment by putting some of our time, our skills, and our participation into endeavors that will help young people in their process of integration and development.
In India, Asha-Kiran is still committed to providing care to the children at its Day Care Centers, thus contributing to the welfare of families who are also excluded from the mainstream of society.
There, our work centers around welcoming and nurturing children whose parents work long hours at construction sites and need caretakers they can trust. We relish the experience of contributing to their vital process whenever they join our Centers, be it as babies or toddlers, when they enroll in school, or when they become young talents who aspire to be self-sufficient while knowing we’ll be there to help them reach their full potential.
