Giving Tuesday 2025 with Asha-Kiran
Giving timelessly
When is the right day to give? When is the perfect moment to gift something from within?
Perhaps —why not?— the best day is today.
Giving Tuesday, which falls on December 2 this year, reminds us that the act of giving doesn't depend on a calendar. It's a global invitation to put solidarity into practice as a conscious and promising response to the excessive consumption that is a hallmark of other celebrations at this time of year.
Asha-Kiran joins this international movement with a very specific proposal: to support the project “Talibe Children’s Home”, in Saint Louis, (Senegal). There, hundreds of talibé children live in extremely precarious conditions, without access to formal education, healthcare, or a deserving childhood. They live in substandard housing and are often forced to beg to survive. Asha-Kiran wants to provide them with support and human companionship so that they can reclaim their dignity and pave their own way towards their social and educational reintegration.
Each contribution helps to sustain a space that combines schooling, health care, and protection, which will become a model that can be replicated in other regions of the country. It is a shining light amid exclusion, an opportunity to turn suffering into a future.
Giving Tuesday is an invitation to give time, support, resources, or your voice generously. You can help by donating, sharing the campaign, promoting our work, or simply by spreading the spirit of solidarity around you.
Because giving is actually timeless.
Every time someone gives, something changes — here and there, in ourselves and in others.
Remember this and join us on December 2.
